Hematology and Oncology of Waterville, ME

This practice is devoted to the treatment and cure of breast cancer and blood disorders.

A highly published clinical researcher, Dr. Traynor moved to Maine for its quality of life, but never with the intention of giving up a life devoted to clinical research and the cure of breast cancer and blood diseases.

This office was opened in order that women with breast cancer would have an office devoted to all aspects of their care, including biologic therapy, chemotherapy, and support group and emotional and psychotherapy, as well as consideration of hair replacement prostheses.

A woman affected by breast cancer should also not have to travel outside of Maine to receive access to the best internatonal and national clinical trials. We refer to an excellent breast surgeon here in Maine and we try to offer the most innovative and important clinical trials in breast cancer and blood diseases. If there is a better trial for you anywhere in the US, we will be sure you know of it.

Keeping our practice small and highly focused follows the academic model of treatment, which holds that real progress demands specialization and time, coupled with research and publication. This standard can be achieved in Maine.

This is a comprehensive center, which provides educaton sessions and immediate turn-around on most laboratories, making your treatment very efficient and minimizing your wasted time.

A state of the art, pristine and private infusion area for administration of chemotherapy, iron replacement, immune globulins and transfusions overlooks the woods behind our office.

We have WIFI, puzzles, and music available to make your infusion stay pass more quickly. Our goal is to make your cure of disease contribute to the cure of your disease for all persons.
